What did acme decide about the launch date this week?

search_messages · client: acmeread_thread · #launch

In #launch on the acme-main workspace, Priya moved the launch to March 14 on Tuesday so QA can finish the payments fixes.

Dan confirmed in the thread. Marketing is updating the email schedule.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add a client

Create one per company you work with. Its short name, like acme, is how you'll refer to it in Claude.

  2. 2

    Connect its tools

Click Add to Slack for each of the client's workspaces and pick what to share. Gmail and Teams are coming next.

  3. 3

    Connect your AI app

Add one connector URL in Claude, then sign in and allow access. It covers every client and everything you connect.

Built for people who work with many clients

Grouped by client

Each client keeps its own connections. Every question names one client, so answers never mix two clients' data.

Every place you talk to a client

Several Slack workspaces per client today. Gmail, Microsoft Teams and more are on the way, under the same client.

You choose what's shared

Share everything you can see, or only the channels you tick. Slack direct messages are never shared.

Works with any MCP app

Claude, plus any AI app that supports custom MCP connectors with sign-in.

Safe to bring to a client

  • Read-only: it can't post, edit or delete anything.
  • Message text and your questions are never stored or logged.
  • Access tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and never leave our server.
  • Disconnect a connection or an AI app in one click.

Details on the privacy page. Slack admins reviewing a request can read what to check before approving.

Questions

Which tools can I connect?

Slack works today, with as many workspaces per client as you need. Gmail and Microsoft Teams are next. Tell us what your clients use and we'll prioritise it.

My workspace asks me to send a request to an admin.

Some workspaces require an admin to approve new apps. Send the request with a short note, and share our page for Slack admins. Once it's approved, click Add to Slack again.

Why does Slack say "App not approved by Slack"?

Slack shows that on every app that isn't listed in its Marketplace yet. Roster is still read-only and only sees what you can see.

Can it read channels I'm not in?

No. It acts as you, so it only sees what your Slack account can see, and only the channels you share with it.

Is there a limit on how much it reads?

Slack limits apps outside its Marketplace to 15 messages per channel read, once a minute. Search isn't affected. If you need full-speed reads, the dashboard can connect a workspace through your own Slack app instead.
